Diane Kruger and Joshua Knutson have announced they have split after 10 years together.
The pair were last pictured together on Saturday - one day after her 40th birthday.
'Diane Kruger and Josh Jackson have decided to separate your lives and remain friends, ' a spokesperson told Persons Magazine.
In March, Diane revealed she had moved to New York to be with Joshua while he was appearing in off-Broadway play Smart Persons, but admitted she was unsure about tying the knot again.
Asked if she'd consider marrying again, she said: 'Welcome to my dilemma.
'I just relocated to New You are able to. I need to unpack and get some house products, like candles and literature.
'[Moving here] was obviously a major commitment. That's a major step into adulthood for myself, to permit that time for someone else out of my time. '
And Josh, who stars inside the Affair, previously uncovered Diane hated watching his sex scenes.
He said: 'I go home and I'm like, "Babe, We had a great day today. I had love-making with two different females and I felt like it went really well".
'I think she's a little conflicted on that. She's OK easily look a little schlubby... Keep your good stuff at home. '
In December it was reported that Kruger was spotted in a New York bar with The Walking Dead legend Norman Reedus.
The 2 was seen in the 2015 crisis Sky, in which Kruger leaves her husband before hooking up with a cowboy stranger, played by 47-year-old Reedus.
